Warranty Details
Makita power tools come with a standard 1-year warranty which can be extended to 3 years if the tool is registered with the manufacturer within the first 30 days of purchase. Please see below for details on how to register your Makita tool.
Warranty does NOT cover certain parts such as chucks, power leads, filters, service items and any cleaning of the product.
The 2-year warranty extension is applicable only to Makita Tools that are CE marked and purchased on or after 1st July 2012. The extension is not applicable for the following products: accessories, batteries, chargers, production tools, compressors, air tools and petrol-powered tools. Extend Your Warranty
You can extend your Makita warranty by 2 years to a total of 3 by registering your tool with Makita. This can only be done within the first 30 days of purchase and you will require your tools serial number to complete the registration.

Faulty within First 30 Days
If your Makita tool develops a fault within the first 30 days after purchase please contact us and we will arrange to have your tool either refunded or replaced. You can find our contact details here on our Contact Us page.
